Amy Winehouse's Grammy Performance — Love It or Leave It?

While Amy Winehouse couldn't quite make it to last night's Grammy Awards in LA, she still performed during the show via telecast from London. It was her first big outing since saying yes, yes, yes to rehab and the night's big winner looked a lot better than she has recently. That being said, I'm sure she still has a ways to go in terms of getting better. Check out the performance below (where she changes the lyrics to "Rehab" to talk about her "Blake incarcerated") and let us know — love it or leave it?

Avery and Malik rumble at practice

Sure enough, there the gangly defenseman and mouthy forward were 40 minutes into today's MSG Training Center practice, gloves shed and fists balled. Nobody got hurt - fact is, using his far superior reach, Malik won on points what turned into a Greco-Roman wrestling match.

But that a fight broke out at all in a non-training camp Rangers practice was stunning. It was believed to be the first since Jeff Beukeboom and Eddie Olczyk duked it out at Rye Playland during the '94 season. An omen?

Here's how things shook out:

Avery was driving down the right wing with the puck in a one-on-one drill when he lost his stick trying to cut in on Malik. The big defenseman rode the stickless and hunched-over winger to the backboards, where he administered an extra hit.

Laura Bush promotes healthy living

Kansas City, Mo. - In a rare break from tradition, first lady Laura Bush offered this week's national radio address to promote healthy living and heart-disease prevention.

"President Bush has handed the mike over to me," she said, according to a White House transcript of the address, which will air Saturday. "And today, I'd like to talk about something that's close to my heart - America's heart health."

Mrs. Bush is the ambassador for the Heart Truth, a campaign to educate women about the risks of heart disease and the steps to prevent it. She said the disease affects more than 80 million people in the U.S. and claims the life of one American every minute.

"Symptoms of a heart attack can be different in women than in men," she said. "Symptoms in women can include persistent fatigue, difficulty breathing, and a pain in the jaw or neck.

Fires continue to threaten Hampton Roads after a hectic night

After brief training this afternoon, more than 100 soldiers will be available, according to a news release. Virginia Guard aviation support already is on standby.

Wind and flames teamed to make Sunday night incredibly busy for local firefighters as scores of blazes broke out.

One person was charged with two misdemeanors after fire burned three acres in a Suffolk neighborhood.

"It’s just crazy," Jim Judkins, a Suffolk Fire Department spokesman, said Sunday night. "We’re looking at conditions like they have in California, high winds and low humidity. It’s just a bad day for fires."

Gov. Tim Kaine declared a state of emergency as flames, fanned by winds gusting to 50 mph and higher, swept hundreds of acres of brush and woodland, wrecked a Virginia Beach apartment building, destroyed a Chesapeake home and left motorists stalled as an interstate highway was closed.
