Clinton has what it takes to fix this mess
It's insane to give them tax rebates (or to keep them in place) and to not regulate such an important oligopoly is a terrible idea. Of course they are regulated, but not enough. Also, they are one of the prime beneficiaries of stability in the Middle East and it's high time that they paid for the security provided by the US Navy and other military forces. The taxes you speak of are paid by the consumer, not the oil company. These taxes are used to pay for road maintenance and is one of the more fair taxes in the books (being a direct tax after all). The more you use the road, the more you pay. Pretty simple concept. When unrest increases in OPEC nations the price of oil goes up and the oil companies profit more. The US sends in forces to reduce the tension and at great cost to Americans the tension usually reduces and oil prices drop so their profit goes down.
Private wakes for frozen tots
YELLOW QUILL RESERVE, Sask. -- A Saskatchewan community is preparing to say goodbye to two little girls who froze to death earlier this week. But the Yellow Quill First Nation wants to do it without the media there. Chief Robert Whitehead said yesterday they banned the media at the request of the family and the band's elders, to allow people time to mourn. "A lot of times, our belief system's kind of overlooked when something like this happens. It's not respected, and therefore I think our young people are beginning to see that, nobody else respects it, why should we respect it?" RCMP say the two girls were taken outside by their father early Tuesday morning and ended up freezing to death in a field by their home. .

6 things your dermatologist never told you
Think chocolate is causing your acne? Do you let a cut “dry out" so it will heal faster? Be prepared to be surprised as Dr. Debra Wattenberg reveals six things your dermatologist may not have told you ... but should have. Chocolate doesn't cause acne, but milk might There are very few studies showing the association between food and acne. People think that the greasy foods — like chocolate, pizza and fried foods — somehow clog their pores and the oils get secreted onto their skin. In fact, acne is caused by the gland getting clogged by skin cells and bacteria. Recent studies have shown the possible link between milk and other dairy products with the development of acne. It is thought that hormones and other bioactive molecules may stimulate the glands causing acne. I usually recommend limiting but not eliminating dairy.
