Idealism drives lawyer Stefani
It was the late 1980s and at first Brown, a veteran officer, was a little unsure of the assignment. Narcotics officers were a tight-knit group that relied heavily on each other during raids. "I wasn't really all that excited about an outsider coming into the group," Brown said. But Stefani, a former FBI special agent, eliminated any fears with his talent and his energy, Brown said. He brought a legal eye to the team and helped with search warrants. "He can just about outwork anybody I know," he said. After completing the ride-alongs, Stefani increased his contact with the department, getting assigned to a drug task force that kept him in contact with Brown. He worked all day at his law practice, kept an eye on the tiny Lake Angelus Police Department that he headed and did drug raids in Detroit at night.
Winehouse wins 5 Grammys; Hancock snags top album
West delivered an electric, glow-in-the-dark rendition of Stronger, then segued into a stirring tribute to his mother, Donda West, who died unexpectedly last year at age 58. "Last night I saw you in my dreams, and now I can't wait to go to sleep," sang West, dressed in all black and with MAMA etched into his haircut, as he launched into Hey Mama, a celebratory tune from his second album that has now turned into a somber ode. When West accepted the best rap album trophy, the orchestra was trying to play him off the stage when he began speaking about his mother. "It would be in good taste to stop the music," West said - and the music stopped. "I know you're really proud of me right now and I know you want me to be the No. 1 artist in the world and Mama," West continued, "all I'm going to do is keep making you proud.
Jew Accomplishments in Israel
The Israeli Jew can be proud of their accomplishments in medicine. Israeli Jew scientists developed the first fully computerized, no-radiation, diagnostic instrumentation for breast cancer. An Israeli company developed a computerized system for ensuring proper administration of medications, thus removing human error from medical treatment. Every year in U. S. hospitals 7,000 patients die from treatment mistakes. Israel's Givun imaging developed the first ingestible video camera, so small it fits inside a pill. Used to view the small intestine from the inside, the camera helps doctors diagnose cancer and digestive disorders. Jew researchers in Israel developed a new device that directly helps the heart pump blood, an innovation with the potential to save lives among those with heart failure.

Movie Review: I am Legend, Will Smith and the Dangers of Playing God ...
The public is always used as guinea pigs when it comes to testing drugs. (See Vaccines and Medical Experiments on Children, Minorities, Woman and Inmates.) Big Pharma is so crazy about selling dangerous drugs to the public that if the virus depicted in the film actually existed, I can definitely see Merck launching it as a "miracle weight loss drug!" Notice that none of the beasts in the movie are fat? Real Medical Experiment Gone Wrong: TGN1412While it's unlikely that the recipients of such biotech drugs would turn into raging night creatures who are thin, athletic and afraid of sunlight, the truth is actually far scarier. Case in point: The TGN1412 drug trial, which I reported on it March, 2006. Click here to read the original report. In this drug trial, which tested an experimental arthritis drug on volunteer patients, things went terribly wrong: After being injected with the anti-inflammatory drug TGN1412, patients began tearing their shirts off, screaming that their heads were going to explode.
