CoolTouch Inc. Responds to Cynosure Patent Infringement Lawsuit
ROSEVILLE, Calif., Jan. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- CoolTouch Inc., a pioneering manufacturer of medical lasers, states the CoolTouch CoolLipo(TM) 1320 wavelength laser was designed to be superior to the Cynosure SmartLipo 1064 technology and does not infringe. Among other reasons, the CoolLipo incorporates state-of-the-art 1320 nm laser technology, coated fibers, and a variety of handpieces which allow the fiber to be extended beyond the end of the cannula, thereby not infringing the '873 patent whose claims require that the fiber must be adjacent to the end of the cannula. The CoolTouch advantage of extending the fiber beyond the cannula helps prevent inadvertent heating of the cannula and assists in cutting connective tissue. Additionally, thousands of pulsed Nd:Yag lasers with specifications identical to the SmartLipo have been sold since the mid-1980s.
Bonds is indicted on five counts
Commissioner Bud Selig withheld judgment, saying, "I take this indictment very seriously and will follow its progress closely." Former Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell, who is investigating drug use in baseball, declined comment. So did Hall of Fame vice president Jeff Idelson. Bonds finished last season with 762 career home runs, seven more than Aaron. A seven-time NL MVP, he also holds the season record with 73 home runs in 2001. He is a free agent after being told late in the season that the Giants didn't want him back next year. Bonds was charged in the indictment with lying when he said he didn't knowingly take steroids given to him by Anderson. Bonds also is charged with lying that Anderson never injected him with steroids. Prosecutors promised Bonds they wouldn't charge him with any drug-related counts if he testified truthfully.

5 More Unloved Growth Stocks
At first, I was tempted to go with teen retailer Abercrombie & Fitch for its reasonable valuation -- as expressed in a 0.98 PEG ratio -- and because peers such as Guess? (NYSE: GES) have been vastly oversold. Come on, IsilonBut today I'm willing to take another whack at Isilon Systems, which makes storage systems for non-transactional data such as audio, video, and photos. That's not an easy position to take. Deep pessimism exists as to whether this upstart can succeed against the likes of Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) and Hitachi. CAPS investor kaputnikov put it this way in October: Isilon's product doesn't target the vital part of enterprises (ERP/database, etc.) where price is secondary. Instead, Isilon targets the high-capacity areas, which [are] price-sensitive -- and they target companies (media) which have huge capacity needs -- but [which are] never willing to pay a lot ...
