SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. -- Detectives are on the hunt for the man who allegedly forced a woman into his car on Wednesday night. Sheriff's spokesperson Rebecca hover said a 42-year-old Brier woman was out walking near 212th Street SW and Poplar Way around 8 p.m. when a man pulled up in his car and asked if she needed a ride. The woman said she did not and kept walking. Several minutes later, the same man walked up to the woman, grabbed her and pushed her into his parked car nearby, Hover said. As the man began driving off, the woman managed to open the passenger door. The man then stopped the car and told her to get out. The woman got out of the car safely. The man never displayed a weapon during the incident, detectives said, and there have not been reports of similar incidents in the area.

I can remember gazing at the colorful covers before I could read, and as I learned to read, the collection had of course grown. The first SF novel I read was Festus Pragnell's The Green Man of Graypek, an early SF novel; and the reason I read it first was because I had been entranced by the Hannes Bok cover as a child. Isolagen Modifies Ongoing Clinical Program For Acne Scars

FDA has provided follow-up on the Phase III program investigating Isolagen's Therapy for the treatment of moderate to severe acne scars. The FDA reiterated that there are no safety issues that would prevent the initiation of the proposed studies. However, the FDA asked the Company to further clarify certain protocol issues and raised questions related to the acne scar Evaluator Assessment Scale and Photo Guide. The FDA recommended that in order to address these issues, the Company should conduct a Phase II study; therefore, the Company will propose modifying the ongoing Phase III Study IT- A-008 as a Phase II/III study (as discussed further below). The FDA requests are specific to the acne scar clinical program and do not impact the Company's ongoing, pivotal Phase III clinical program evaluating the Isolagen Therapy for the treatment of nasolabial folds, or wrinkles.Isolagen's two randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled acne scar clinical trials (IT-A-008 and IT-A-009) of approximately 120 patients eachwere designed and powered as Phase III studies.

Teachers face mixed messages

This all sounds alot like what the schools in the U.S. were going through, back during the 1960's and 1970's, when the school systems were so severely underfunded.
We, collectively, have to make some really tough decisions, which include finally recognizing that we are responsible for our own actions and that we have to teach our children that they will suffer consequences for actions that are not exceptable from a moral or societal standpoint. Parents should NOT rely on the teachers to teach these values, especially when they are hamstrung with policies that say, teach my kid the difference between right and wrong, but don't you dare actually punish him / her, because you might hurt their feelings.
